What You’ll Do
As a Foundation Repair & Waterproofing Technician, you’ll work as part of our production team to repair and protect homes throughout the DC metro area.
Projects may include:
- Foundation and structural repairs
- Basement waterproofing
- Crawl space repair and encapsulation
- Interior and exterior drainage systems
- Sump pump installation
- Concrete and masonry work
- Foundation stabilization and repair
- Light plumbing and carpentry
- General jobsite preparation and cleanup
You’ll work alongside experienced team members to identify problems, complete repairs, and deliver quality workmanship and a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform foundation repair and waterproofing installations
- Install drainage systems and sump pumps
- Complete concrete, masonry, carpentry, and light plumbing work
- Assist with diagnosing common foundation and water-management issues
- Safely operate tools and construction equipment
- Drive company trucks and tow trailers when required
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow DESKA installation, safety, and quality standards
- Take pride in completing projects correctly and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in construction, concrete, masonry, waterproofing, foundation repair, or structural repair
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to safely drive a truck and tow a trailer
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a crew
- Willingness to learn new techniques and specialized repair systems
- English communication skills sufficient to safely perform the job and communicate with customers and coworkers
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on construction position. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Climb and safely use ladders up to 20 feet
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Perform physically demanding construction tasks throughout the workday
